The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that the building itself was completely renovated of debris, and the architect Belen Campos managed to maintain its historical appearance, making it a wonderful residential house with all modern conveniences. To understand the amount of work, it remains to add, that from that time construction was left only four whole walls, everything else was in ruins. To realize this complex project, where invited a numerous specialists, generally several dozen representatives of various professions.
In restoration process the most difficult steps was to hide all the necessary modern communications to keep most of that time atmosphere. Because the building is located in the area of Garrotxa away from civilization, it needed its own autonomous heating and power system – solar panels and geothermal system that provides heating in the house.
The interior is designed in French style with a modern touch. Very tastefully looks purple shades on beige tones and of course the natural stone walls and oak flooring gives its special touch.
This is a wonderful oasis where you can enjoy the magnificent landscape of Spain, sink in memories and feel a real sense of cozy home.
