This original and romantic interior design in interpretation of French Colonial style belongs to Anita Trehan that is idea author of this creative and beautiful art work that can be called this way for sure. Decorated with canopied beds, chandeliers, teak-framed mirrors and plenty of chaises, as Ms. Trehen says “I like French, I like Indian, I like Scandinavian and British. I like shape and texture.” and that all can be seen here into a late-19th-century brownstone in Harlem where she plans to open in bottom floor a restaurant specializing in chai.
Nothing in this romantic interior design is just like that, every nuance and detail are thought out – starting with wall color, exposed brick walls to the furniture and accessories. I have to say that the delicate shades of walls and exposed bricks that has been lightly whitewashed together makes unique and light feeling.
